FLYING NANNY ON BOARD LONG HAUL FLIGHTS

Traveling with kids is a daunting task. I remember the first time I traveled with my then six-year old nephew and his parents and we had to think of various ways of how to react and what to do in case he feels impatient during the flight or he complains that his ears feel funny because of the cabin pressure and a lot of other things we imagined beforehand that could take place. Good thing that he was such an angel that time and we were able to enjoy the experience without any hassles.

There were a number of flights I have been in the past with no such luck for other parents and adults traveling with babies and toddlers. I have seen their faces turn red with anxiety because of the difficulty of putting the little ones to sleep or when the gentle tapping of their angels' behind does nothing to make them stop crying which cause uneasiness in other passengers.

Thanks to Etihad Airways for recently launching the FLYING NANNY. The FLYING NANNY will lend a helping hand to families and unaccompanied minors. She is trained to entertain and engage with children during flights and she will work with the parents to make the travel experience easier. She will also help parents replenish milk bottles and offer other items towards the end of the flight to unburden them.

The presence of FLYING NANNIES would certainly delight families traveling with kids especially the mothers! Don't you think so? Let us know your feedback in the comments. :)
